Wreaths laid on the “Topole” graveyard in the memorial site “Donja Gradina”

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended today the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the Ustasha crime – the NDH genocide in the Jasenovac concentration camp and its largest execution site Donja Gradina.

Wreaths were laid at the “Topole” graveyard in the “Donja Gradina” memorial site, for more than 700,000 Serbs, 80,000 Roma and 23,000 Jews who were brutally murdered in the Jasenovac system of Croatian concentration camps.

The wreaths were laid by the Republic of Srpska President Milorad Dodik, together with the Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković, the Republic of Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić and the Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović.

The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić also laid the wreath, and he was accompanied by the Assembly Speaker of Serbia Vladimir Orlić, the Minister of Finance Siniša Mali and the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selaković.
