President of the Republic of Srpska hosts a reception on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović hosted a joint reception on the occasion of the Republic of Srpska Day celebration for delegations of businessmen of the Republic of Srpska, athletes, scholars and awarded students, delegation of cultural and scientific workers and representatives of the Republic of Srpska publishers, delegation of the National Minorities Federation of the Republic of Srpska and media representatives.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that in the coming year she will do her best to make sure that life in Srpska flows soundly and that others should do it as well.

The President Cvijanović assessed that everyone in their profession and from their position can do a lot for Srpska.

“We must not betray the expectations of our citizens and we must not gamble upon such great political capital since it manifests itself through the love for the Republic”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska expressed her satisfaction with the fact that the stability of the institutions was ensured, despite the fact that there were various attacks, impairments and efforts to show that they were unable to fulfill their role.

“We have been able to show that the institutions are there and that they are stable”, said the President Cvijanović and thanked everyone who made their contribution in institutional terms and to the citizens for their affection.

The President of Srpska reminded that the authorities in the Republic of Srpska were able to increase salaries and pensions, that the social image was better because they were able to allocate more funds in this regard as well.

“Each year carries a record indicator of employment, our growth is stable and these are all assumptions that we should be satisfied enough”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Republic highlighted that she was proud of what Republic of Srpska is, of all people who understand how important it is to build and be stable and who will not forget how it was made and how many difficult political decisions, bloodshed and suffering during the war happened, which, she emphasized, must be appreciated.

The President of Srpska stressed that the institutions are able to recognise and reward young talents, all those who have made efforts and made something of themselves.

The President Cvijanović wished everyone happy holidays and the happy Day of the Republic, which, she said, will be magnificently marked this year again.
