The President of the Republic of Srpska spoke with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović spoke today in her office with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić.

At the meeting, also attended by the Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković, interlocutors discussed the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska, BiH and the region, as well as the implementation of joint projects in different areas.

President Cvijanović assessed the institutional co-operation between Srpska and Serbia as at an exceptionally high level and expressed satisfaction with the fact that initiated common projects are implemented in accordance with the planned dynamics.

The support of Serbia, she said, as the most important economic partner, but also as the pillar for preserving and strengthening Srpska, is visible in many municipalities through the implementation of numerous public utility and infrastructure projects financed with funds from Serbia.

President Cvijanović, also at this occasion, thanked the leadership of Serbia on behalf of the citizens and institutions of the Republic of Srpska for the concrete forms of co-operation and support, and underlined that Srpska and Serbia are connected by strong political and economic relations and a high level of understanding.

Interlocutors expressed satisfaction that improvement of mutual relations has been achieved in almost all areas of public life, pursuant to the Agreement on Special and Parallel Relations, and stressed the need to further strengthen ties, not only at the institutional and economic, but also at the levels of culture and education.
