The President of the Republic of Srpska spoke with the Head of the EU Delegation and the EU Special Representative in BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović spoke today in her office with the Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in BiH Lars-Gunnar Wigemark.

Interlocutors discussed the continuation of the EU integration process in light of the European Commission’s opinion on BiH’s EU membership application, as well as current political and economic topics in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.

It was jointly assessed that implementation of the co-ordination mechanism, which will make possible co-operation between different levels of authorities pursuant to their constitutional competences, is of key importance for the continuation of the EU integration process, so in this context, interlocutors underlined the necessity of forming credible and legitimate authorities at all levels in BiH.
