Republika Srpska President Zeljka Cvijanovic met today with Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH Lars-Gunar Vigemark and members of the Working Group for the Western Balkans / COWEB / on the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
The meeting concluded that it was necessary to establish a new Council of Ministers’ convening, as well as power at all levels, in the shortest possible time, in order to create adequate conditions for the unobstructed solution of demanding tasks that BiH and its entities expect in the process of European integration.
On this occasion, President Cvijanovic pointed out that the Serbian was fully committed to the European path, and stressed that this process must be conducted in accordance with the rules of the coordination mechanism, as well as with full respect for the constitutional position and competencies of the institutions of Republika Srpska.
During the talks, President Cvijanovic underlined the importance of harmonized and harmonized action of all competent institutions in BiH, both in the domain of European integration and in the implementation of the reform processes, adding that only in this way can it be ensured efficient movement forward and creation of better conditions for business operations subjects, as well as to improve the living standards of all citizens.
