The President of the Republic of Srpska attended the presentation of 100 new vehicles of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today in Zalužani near Banja Luka the presentation of 100 new vehicles of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that it was important that the Government of Srpska continuously works on strengthening and equipping the Ministry of the Interior which was confirmed by the procurement of 100 new vehicles.

“In addition to the police accommodation facilities, training centres and the procurement of weapons and uniforms, it is important that our police have an adequate vehicle fleet. The vehicles will be deployed to the police administrations throught Srpska”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic reminded that the Ministry of the Interior procured 300 vehicles during the previous few years.

“Even at that time, the Government decided to continuously invest in police resources. Regardless of the fact that many tried to diminish the importance of the Ministry of the Interior of Srpska, all polls has showed that our citizens have a full confidence in this institution”, said the President Cvijanović.

According to the President of the Republic, the Republic of Srpska Police is ready to protect the constitutional order and security of the citizens of Srpska.

“The obligation of the institutions is to create adequate conditions for this. The best way for the Ministry of the Interior to recompense to the citizens is to do its job and for us all to work on the same task”, it was concluded by the President Cvijanović.
