Republic of Srpska President Visits Jasenovac Monastery
The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, visited today the Jasenovac Monastery and spoke with His Eminence Bishop Jovan of Pakrac and Slavonia.
President Cvijanović, accompanied by Bishop Jovan, toured the monastery complex and visited the Church of St. John the Baptist.
The President of the Republic stressed that it was an honour and a pleasure to talk today with the Bishop of Pakrac and Slavonia Jovan and to be informed of the plans for further building the monastery complex and improving it with various contents.
Speaking about today’s visit to the earthquake-affected areas, President Cvijanović said that it was necessary to talk to people who are fighting various challenges, believing and counting on the institutions to help them solve their problems as soon as possible.
