The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, today visited the site of the construction works of a new hospital in the Doboj settlement of Usora.

The Republic of Srpska President said that she expects the project of building a new facility of the “Sveti apostol Luka” Hospital in Doboj, which represents a great contribution to the development of health care in Srpska, will be completed within the set deadline.

President Cvijanović expressed her satisfaction as this is a modern and functional facility in which all medical services will be provided in one place, and patients will be treated in a much better environment, and medical workers will work in incomparably better conditions than in the old, pavilion type hospital.

“We already see the concrete works on the large regional hospital in Doboj, we promised that for many years and we have finally reached the phase of implementation,” said the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the financing was complete, and that the appropriate projects and project documentation already prepared.

“Today, we can finally say that we have started implementation,” added President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic congratulated all those who were engaged in the realisation of the project, primarily the City Administration of Doboj, for their dedicated work with the Republic’s authorities.

“We are especially pleased with the fact of which we were notified by the contractor’s representatives, that the important `Sinofarm` company hires and relies on domestic labour and services when it comes to projects of this type. We are very pleased, as these are, inter alia, conditions we set when negotiating with investors and looking for business partners,” the President of the Republic pointed out.
