The President of the Republic of Serpska Željka Cvijanović visited today, on occasion of Easter holidays, the children hospitalised at the Children’s Clinic of the Republic of Srpska University Clinical Centre in Banja Luka, brought them gifts and wished them a happy Easter, a speedy recovery and good health.
President Cvijanović said it was a small sign of attention toward children who, due to their health condition, were not able to celebrate Easter at home, as well as toward their parents.
The President of the Republic added that she has visited the University Clinical Centre before, as well as the Home for Children and Youth without Parental Care “Rada Vranješević”, and pointed out that it is necessary and that there is a will to pay attention to needs of these children and give them presents.
“We made every effort to invest here and create better settings and conditions, but essentially, it is always more important to be humane and to show that we care about our population, especially the children,” stated President Cvijanović.
The Republic of Srpska President noted that today’s visit is just a small sign of attention toward the children and a way of helping them overcome, with gifts and love, the fact that they are not at home with their families for the holiday.
“I wish them all a very fast recovery, and to all our citizens celebrating this great holiday, I wish a happy Easter with the traditional Greeting ‘Christ was Risen!’” said the President of Srpska.
The President of the Republic also said that she wishes that the Republic of Srpska be built through common efforts and work.
