Republic of Srpska President Speaks with Head of EU Delegation in BiH and EU Special Representative to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović spoke today in her office in Banja Luka with the Head of the EU Delegation in BiH and Special Representative to BiH Lars-Gunnar Wigemark.

Dominant topics of the meeting were the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH with a special emphasis on their European path.

President Cvijanović underscored the commitment of the Republic of Srpska institutions to the European path and stressed that for further progress along the path of European integration it is indispensable to implement the will of the citizens shown at the general elections held in October last year and to form credible and legitimate authorities at all levels in BiH.

Interlocutors expressed mutual expectations that the forthcoming period will be marked by constructive political dialogue and activities so that continuation of initiated reform processes and the implementation of projects whose aim is to improve all citizens’ standard of living could continue.
