Republic of Srpska President Speaks with Čelinac Municipality Leadership

The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, met today with the leadership of the municipality of Čelinac.

The President of Srpska pointed out that the municipality of Čelinac authorities work well and meet all obligations, and that the local government has been working with the republic’s institutions for years on projects that are of great benefit to the citizens.

President Cvijanović pointed out that Čelinac co-operates well with the republic’s institutions and thanked the Government of Srpska for enabling financial interventions to minimise the damage local communities sustained due to the pandemic.

“The point is that we work in such a way that we do something important and good for our citizens in every local community, and that is how we will continue working. I believe that we will maintain stability of the municipality, and the republic’s institutions are here to help every time it is needed,” said the President of the Republic.

According to the Republic of Srpska President, citizens must understand that, when there are serious people and institutions at the local level, projects will be implemented seriously.

“We have done several capital things here. In addition to building and renovating schools, we have resolved the matter of protection against floods, built a new bridge. These were problems that concerned the citizens, but through common effort by the republic’s authorities and with the support of Serbia for individual projects, we have managed to solve some really capital things,” the President of the Republic said.

President Cvijanović emphasised that the intention of the republic’s institutions is to help local communities also in future, and that Čelinac can count on the support of the Government for all capital investments.
