The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH, Igor Kalabukhov, over the airplane crash in eastern Russia.
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the airplane crash in the Kamchatka region, in which passengers and crew members lost their lives.
“At this very difficult time for your country, we sincerely sympathise with the families of the victims and the fraternal people of the Russian Federation.
“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims, to you and to the citizens of Russia,” reads the condolences telegram of President Cvijanović.
