Republic of Srpska President Presents Decoration and Certificates of Appreciation to Members of Russian Federation’s Armed Forces Unit

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović presented today at the Republic of Srpska Offices in Istočno Sarajevo a decoration and certificates of appreciation to members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation who came to the Republic of Srpska at the invitation of the Republic of Srpska officials to help combat the KOVID-19 pandemic caused by the coronavirus.

President Cvijanović awarded the Medal of Merit to the People to the Commander of the detachment of the Russian Federation’s Armed Forces, Colonel Maxim Petrovich Sologubov, for his outstanding contribution in providing support and medical assistance in the fight against the KOVID-19 pandemic caused by the coronavirus, as well as for improving co-operation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Srpska.

As an expression of our immense gratitude and respect and for their selfless support to the Republic of Srpska, President Cvijanović also awarded 23 certificates of appreciation “Emblem of the Republic of Srpska” to the expert team from the Russian Federation.

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Pyotr Ivatsov also attended the awards ceremony of the decoration and certificates of appreciation at the Republic of Srpska Offices in Istočno Sarajevo.
