Republic of Srpska President Meets with Newly Appointed Ambassador of Swiss Confederation to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, met today in her office with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to BiH, Daniel Hunn.

At the meeting, President Cvijanović informed her interlocutor about the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, and interlocutors also discussed the current epidemiological situation, as well as the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was assessed that the Republic of Srpska and Switzerland have achieved good results in the implementation of joint projects in the previous period, and it was pointed out that there are great potentials for investment in the healthcare and energy sectors, and tourism in the Republic of Srpska.

At the occasion, the President of the Republic welcomed Ambassador Hun to the Republic of Srpska, and expressed hope that the co-operation between Switzerland and Srpska will be further improved in the forthcoming period.
