Republic of Srpska President Meets with Leadership of Krupa na Uni Municipality

The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, visited the municipality of Krupa na Uni today and spoke with the leadership of this municipality.

The President of the Republic stated that it was agreed with the municipal leadership of Krupa na Uni to resolve priority issues, such as the water supply for the citizens.

“What will be done as a priority and where the support will be most robust is the construction of the first phase of the water supply network for the wider area of the town, which is very important for agricultural producers, of which there are many in this municipality,” said President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic added that one more project will receive the support of the Office of the President of the Republic, which is the construction of a playground and a sports field in Hašani.

“With that we want to contribute to the development of the local community.  We want them to have places for gathering and organising different events,” explained President Cvijanović.

The President of Srpska pointed out that in the municipality of Krupa na Uni there is work needed on the rehabilitation of local roads and on a regional road, for which the initiative will go to the company “Roads of the Republic of Srpska”.

According to President Cvijanović, the commitment of both the local and Republic’s institutions to strengthening mutual co-operation is very important, because only that way can be achieved everything that citizens need.

The President of Srpska noted that the local community has significant potential, and that it is up to the Republic’s and the local institutions to do everything in their power to improve the citizens’ living quality.

“I think that with improved ties between the Republic’s and local institutions, there will also be a visible improvement of the citizens’ quality of life.  We plan to do many things here,” concluded President Cvijanović.
