Republic of Srpska President Meets with Hungarian Ambassador to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, spoke today in her office in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of Hungary to BiH, Krisztián Pósa, about the current political and economic situation in Srpska and BiH, as well as the process of European integration.

The meeting also discussed the current epidemiological situation and the process of mass immunisation of the population against the coronavirus, and the President of Srpska expressed her gratitude to the Government of Hungary for the donation of 100,000 vaccines for the citizens of the Republic of Srpska.

Interlocutors affirmed the co-operation between the Republic of Srpska and Hungary is very good, as evidenced by the recent visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó, as well as of the State Secretary for Youth and Family in the Government of Hungary, Katalin Novák.

At the occasion, the commitment was expressed to further improve relations, with special emphasis on strengthening economic co-operation, as well as the exchange of experience and positive practices in the field of demographic policy.
