Republic of Srpska President Hands Department Keys to 16 Young Couples in Doboj
The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, and the Mayor of Doboj, Boris Jerinić, handed over keys to departments to 16 young married couples in Doboj. The purchase of the departments was co-financed by the city.
President Cvijanović pointed out that this project is a great undertaking of the local authorities in co-operation with the Republic’s to provide young people with easier access to their own housing units, and for them to stay in their city and Srpska.
The President of the Republic of Srpska suggested to young married couples to stay in Srpska and build their future here.
“One hundred young couples got the opportunity of having their housing resolved and can start their lives together,” said President Cvijanović.
The President of Srpska bode to all local communities that they develop at the pace of Doboj, and stressed that this should be a template applied in all other municipalities.
“Doboj has come forward with good and quality programmes, as have many other municipalities, but housing for young couples attracts attention and I am sure that with similar projects all over Srpska, we will keep many more young people in the Republic so that they can build their future here,” noted President Cvijanović and wished to all couples personal and family happiness.
