The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, on occasion of 12 May – the International Nurses Day, extended her congratulations to all nurses and medical technicians in the Republic of Srpska.
“On 12 May – International Nurses Day, I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all nurses and medical technicians in the Republic of Srpska.
“Nurses and medical technicians are an indispensable part of the Republic of Srpska healthcare team and play a key role in health promotion and disease prevention and treatment.
“This, primarily humane profession, in addition to professionalism, knowledge and expertise, is recognised by dedication, humanity and kindness, which greatly affect the quality of health care and contribute to strengthening our healthcare system.
“I take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for your selfless daily help to patients, and especially for your commitment at a time when the Republic of Srpska is facing a pandemic caused by the koronavirus.
“I once again congratulate you on the International Nurses Day and I wish your work be even better appreciated, as well as a lot of success in the work you do even in the most difficult of situations,” reads the congratulatory note of the Republic of Srpska President.
