Republic of Srpska President Attends Session of Čelinac Municipal Assembly on Occasion of Municipality’s Day and Patron Saint – Synaxis of Holy Archangel Gabriel
The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, attended this evening the official session of the Municipal Assembly of Čelinac on occasion of the Day and Patron Saint Day of the Municipality – Synaxis of the Holy Archangel Gabriel.
On congratulating the leadership of the Čelinac municipality and the citizens on the Day and the Patron Saint Day of the Municipality, President Cvijanović pointed out that this local community faced numerous challenges in the previous period, of which she especially mentioned the great floods, but that all problems were solved through a joint effort.
The President of the Republic stated that the authorities of this local community, in co-operation with the Government and the Republic’s institutions, have implemented over many years numerous important projects for the citizens of this municipality.
“A series of big and important projects were implemented here, starting from the construction and refurbishment of schools, through to the improvement of the local road infrastructure. And we will go on in future,” said the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska stressed that the Government of the Republic of Srpska, but also all holders of various offices at different levels of government, will do their best to implement projects that are in the best interest of the citizens.
“I want us to step into the future together. The Republic of Srpska certainly has a brilliant future, together with all of our local communities. But, in order for that future to be safe and secure, we need what is called a strong connection between the republic’s and the local government. This is precisely why I am grateful that we have kept such a connection here for many years,” noted President Cvijanović.
