Republic of Srpska President Attends Promotion of Cadets of 21st Class of Police Academy’s Police Training Unit and of 7th Class of Special Antiterrorist Unit of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry


The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, attended today in Zalužani the promotion of cadets of the XXI class of the Police Training Unit of the Police Academy and of the VII class of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska.

The Republic of Srpska President said that Republic of Srpska’s institutions are committed to strengthening the security capabilities of Srpska, of which everyone should be proud.

“The objective must always be to preserve the Republic, and for it to be strong, stable, unquestionable and the only place for all of us to live,” noted President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic pointed out that the citizens of Srpska have confidence in their police, knowing that they protect the constitutional system of the Republic, the citizens and their security, which is why institutions must tend for the income and conditions in which the police work.

The President of Srpska underscored that the Republic’s institutions of have worked for years to create better conditions for the work of the police, which is visible from well-equipped police stations, the Training Centre, the transformation in education and training, procurement of equipment indispensable for the police’s work.

“We have kept the pace with the needs of our police. I would very much like to tell you that easy tasks are ahead of you, but we are aware that the Republic of Srpska is everyone’s priority and that her security is the most important precondition for any other development. I know that citizens appreciate everything you do for them. Since the establishment of Srpska, she has always faced great challenges, new crises, but please understand that even in difficult political processes, our citizens rely on you,” stressed President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic also congratulated the cadets’ parents, remarking they should be proud of their sons and daughters.
