His Eminence Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka served today a Holy Bishops’ Liturgy on occasion of the consecration of the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius in the Ljubac valleys near Banja Luka.

President Cvijanović said that the consecration of the log church, a reminder of old times, is a great event and a day for all, and added that one should always work to promote Srpska and use it in the best way.

“This church completes another tourist offer of Srpska, Banja Luka and the ethno-village itself. People from this ethno-village have established connections with a large number of /travel/ agencies from European countries and the region. I heard that people from 85 countries have visited the ethno-village in recent years, which says a lot about the attractiveness of this place, which is also significant for Srpska and Banja Luka,” noted President Cvijanović.

The President of Republika Srpska added that success is there and that it becomes a reality every time people come together for an idea, such as this one in Ljubačevo, the realisation of which involved the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Diocese of Banja Luka.

President Cvijanović was presented with a gift at the ceremony that will remind her of Ljubačevo and the consecration of the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius.
