Having in mind that opposition parties are reluctant to discuss the appointment of a new High Representative in contravention with provided for procedures, a meeting at the Presidential Palace will not be held.
Some parties, such as the Democratic People’s Alliance (DNS), said that their two-member delegation would attend, but then cancelled only after the meeting was officially announced.
This fully confirms that the initiative of holding separate meetings with the ruling and opposition parties was an absolute need, so that children’s games would not obstruct such an important matter implying the continuation of the experimental and arbitrary attitude of the international factor with regard to BiH.
It should be reminded that the parties of the ruling coalition in the Republic of Srpska expressed an unequivocal position that the election of the High Representative must take place in accordance with procedures enshrined in the Dayton Peace Accords, and not within ambassadorial circles.
