The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović held a press conference in Banja Luka today after a two-day visit to Hungary.
During a two-day visit to Hungary, the President of the Republic and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency met with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. They also met with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that Srpska has friends who understand it more than ever, and yesterday’s meetings in Hungary with several leaders prove that.
The President Dodik said that it is usually said that Srpska is marginalized, and that they hope that it will be ostracized, even for financial reasons, but the meetings we had with important people in Hungary over the past two days prove that we have important friends.
The President Dodik said that they had the opportunity to meet with people who previously held important positions, but that the key meetings were with Orbán, Erdoğan and Vučić, with whom they discussed all important and current issues.
The President of the Republic pointed out that everyone is listening to the situation in BiH, and reminded that Christian Schmidt is a fraud that he is a representative of the international community, that he has no legality and legitimacy to present himself as a high representative.
“We have a surrogate, a lie that is being spread in BiH and the leaders understand it. They are familiar with the fact that it is almost impossible for a foreigner to intervene in legislation. In Hungary, they said that this is unacceptable and that it is necessary to return to the agreement”, said the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic pointed out that it is disastrous that there are parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina who support the illegal imposition of laws.
As part of their visit to Hungary, on the occasion of celebrating the National Day of this country – Saint Stephen, the President of the Republic of Srpska and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency attended the World Athletics Championships at the State Athletic Centre in Budapest and in Szentendre, at the invitation of His Eminence the Bishop Lukijan of Budim, to celebrate the great Orthodox holiday of the Transfiguration.
