President of the Republic of Srpska welcomes children from Banja Luka kindergartens “Naša djeca” and “Neven” on the occasion of the International Children’s Week

Today, on the occasion of the International Children’s Week, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović hosted children from the Banja Luka kindergartens “Naša djeca” and “Neven”, since one million BAM is invested to the construction of facilities due to the initiative of the President of the Republic.

The President of Srpska expressed her satisfaction that she had the opportunity to receive small members of the society, who these days learned about their rights and obligations, but also about everything that awaits them in society.

“I welcome the activities that are carried out in all our kindergartens. This is an opportunity to express our satisfaction with the fact that we have completed these two kindergartens, which was a great undertaking”, said the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic of Srpska reminded that she had sent an initiative for the renovation of the mentioned facilities, and that due to the readiness of the Government, i.e. the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Ecology, that work was completely finalised today.

The President of Srpska also announced that, to the initiative of numerous citizens, a kindergarten will be built in the settlement of Paprikovac.

The President of the Republic expressed her gratitude to the employees of the Centre, to all educators who work diligently, and that, as she stated, in addition to caring for children, they also provide them with their first knowledge.

“It is the educational dimension that is also present in our preschool institutions. We are preparing them for everything that awaits them in life, and the first step is to attend school after kindergarten”, it was pointed out by the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that she was happy with the fact that the Republic of Srpska increases the number of children with preschool education every year, and emphasized that the goal is for all children in Srpska to be included in preschool education.
