President of the Republic of Srpska visits the Tourist and Recreation Centre “Manjača”

Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović visited the Tourist and Recreation Centre “Manjača” near Lake Šljivno.

The President of Srpska and the Director of the Centre for Agricultural and Rural Development Draško Ilić stated today that the Tourist and Recreation Centre “Manjača” is extremely important for Banja Luka and it is necessary to invest two million BAM in order it to be fully equipped, and thus nearly 200 to 300 workers could be employed here.

The President Cvijanović pointed out that the engagement of local and republic authorities is essential in order for the project of the Tourist and Recreation Centre “Manjača” to be fully implemented.

“The contents that will be established will enable this complex to be the core of the tourist, sports and recreational life”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President Cvijanović said that she was happy with the fact that cooperation had been established with local agriculture, as well as that there were many associations that wanted to be part of the activities in the Tourist and Recreation Centre “Manjača”.

“This is a great place for the people of Banja Luka, all the municipalities that belong to Banja Luka, but also for the Republic of Srpska, so we must develop it”, it was pointed out by the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic expects that the planned projects will be implemented.

“It is good that there is a possibility for the formation of a summer theatre and for accommodation capacities to be provided. We are particularly pleased with the opportunity to employ 200 to 300 people, and I am sure that we will have new facilities next year”, it was added by the President Cvijanović.
