President of the Republic of Srpska visits the Regional Museum in Doboj

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović visited the Regional Museum in Doboj today.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that it is a great joint endeavor since the building of the Regional Museum in Doboj was expanded for the purpose of exhibiting art works by the academic sculptor Drago Handanović, which this Doboj artist bequeathed to the city.

“It is a great joint endeavor of a great artist and the City Administration, which provides a permanent exhibition thanks to the great creativity of our artist. I think this is a wonderful combination”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic pointed out that the Regional Museum in Doboj will have an important role not only in this region, but also in the Republic of Srpska.

According to the President Cvijanović, it is of additional importance since this happens at the time of the Corona virus, when the society deals with difficult issues, but culture must not be forgotten.
