Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović visited the newly built kindergarten in the municipality of Petrovo, which is part of the Doboj preschool institution “Majka Jugović”.
The President of the Republic said that the newly built kindergarten in Petrovo was a justified investment and another in a series of examples of good cooperation between the local and republic authorities, in this case the Office of the President of the Republic of Srpska.
The President of Srpska stated that this project fits into the general care for the youngest in the Republic of Srpska.
“During today’s visit to the kindergarten, we discussed the fact that there is a real need to expand the capacities. It is a matter of new accommodation, but at the same time there are requests from more parents. We will work together in the next period to provide accommodation for additional thirty children. I also hope that there will be more of them”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic thanked the representatives of the municipal authorities for being ready to welcome the implementation of this project and showed that they can apply for good projects and implement them quickly.
The President Cvijanović announced the implementation of similar projects in the area of Petrovo and pointed out that a lot has already been done to improve the infrastructure.
“We know that the needs are growing and in accordance with the growth of those needs in every municipality in our Republic of Srpska, we will cooperate with local authorities”, said the President of Srpska.
The President Cvijanović stated that she was satisfied that the children in the kindergarten were happy and care of them was taken and organised in the best possible way.
“Our preschool institutions also provide the initial, first education to our children, prepare them for their socialisation and everything that awaits them afterwards”, it was pointed out by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
