President of the Republic of Srpska visits the municipality of Petrovo
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović visited the municipality of Petrovo today, where she talked with the leadership of this municipality, visited the kindergarten under construction and the local company “Limeks” in Karanovac.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that there is a good connection between the municipality of Petrovo and the republic institutions, but that much more can be done, and announced the arrival of ministers for the next period who would resolve problems in the field of health and agriculture.
The President Cvijanović pointed out that the current government in the Republic of Srpska resolves one issue at a time, which is delegated to it by the Municipal Administration of Petrovo.
The President of the Republic emphasised that this local community, although small, can be stable and functional with appropriate opportunities to young people, young married couples, but also older fellow citizens.
“We have made certain promises last fall and, as we could see, a lot was implemented. One of the things is a kindergarten that will mean a lot for forty children”, said the President Cvijanović.
For the next period, the President of the Republic announced the arrival of line ministers to solve problems in the field of health, agriculture with a focus on wood processors and supplying sufficient quantities of wood assortments, as well as infrastructural connections of the municipality with its environment.
“What is important is that we have that good connections between the local community and republic institutions. My visit here today is a contribution to the improvement of that cooperation in order to better understand the needs in each of our local communities and to better intervene”, said the President Cvijanović.
After visiting the company “Limeks”, the President of the Republic of Srpska expressed satisfaction that there are serious businessmen in the area of Petrovo. In this case, it is a company that employs nearly 100 workers, 97 percent is export-oriented, and whose products are marketed for the famous companies in the world, from the automotive industry and beyond.
“We must be proud. In small Petrovo, we have such big and significant companies that are associated with the world-famous brands. We are all really trying to make this a functional and good place”, said the President Cvijanović.
