The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović visited the Kozara Barracks today, where she met with officers of the Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that republican institutions would support the idea of establishing a modern and better conceived the Republic of Srpska Army Museum.
The President Cvijanović said that she has seen the presentation of the conceptual design and that Srpska would certainly get such a museum, which would work together with other museums in Srpska.
“We finally agreed today, and next year, upon completion of the paperwork, we will enter into concrete activities of rehabilitation, reconstruction and upgrading of certain parts of the Museum”, told the President Cvijanović to the reporters after symbolically planting a maple together with the Serb officers at Kozara Barracks as part of the expansion project of the Museum of the Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment and the formation of an external facility of that institution.
The President of the Republic stated that the common task of the President and members of that military formation is to nurture the traditions of the VRS values of the defense and patriotic war.
