The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović and Bogdana Koljević have unveiled a bust to Professor Nikola Koljević in Banja Luka today.
The Republic of Srpska President said that former Vice President of Srpska and great patriot Nikola Koljević made a huge contribution to the creation of Srpska in turbulent times.
The President Cvijanović said that the revelation would show respect for Professor Koljević of whom she was a student.
“He was an outstanding educator, lecturer and a great Shakespearean scholar who caught the attention of students”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stressed that the unveiling the bust would represent a gratitude to Banja Luka as hometown of Koljević.
“This is the right place for the bust that will serve as everyone’s pride. Therefore, we are showing that by appreciating certain people from the past we are ready to move towards strengthening and safeguarding Srpska, as well as the challenges ahead of us. I am pleased since Srpska is stable, strong, with strong institutions and with citizens who love it. It is up to us to keep developing it and to be proud of ourselves because Srpska is stronger every day”, said the President Cvijanović.
