The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović took part today in a video conference organised by the association Serbian – American Leadership Conference from the United States of America.
On this occasion, the President Cvijanović responded to the questions by the Voice of America longtime journalist Branko Mikašinović and the President of the Serbian – American Leadership Conference Aleksandar Đuričić.
Among many discussed issues, there were the political and economic situation in Srpska and BiH, relations between the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, as well as the cooperation of institutions with the diaspora.
Coronavirus pandemic was also discussed during the video conference and the President of the Republic of Srpska briefed the interlocutors about the measures taken by the institutions in order to prevent from the pandemic and facilitate overcoming of health and economic consequences.
During the conversation, the President of Srpska emphasized the importance and role of the Republic of Srpska representative offices in establishing institutional links with our diaspora.
On this occasion, the President Cvijanović highlighted that it was also very important for our people in the diaspora that cooperation and political understanding of Srpska and Serbia are at the highest level, and added that admirable relations were manifested through the joint marking of important dates from the past.
The Serbian – American Leadership Conference is an organisation which aims to advance the professional, cultural and civil interests of the Serb community in the United States of America.
