President of the Republic of Srpska sends congratulations on the occasion of April 4 – the Day of the Republic of Srpska Police and the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska
On the occasion of April 4 – the Day of the Republic of Srpska Police and the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović congratulated the Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač, Police Director Siniša Kostrešević and all members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska.
“On the occasion of April 4 – the Day of the Republic of Srpska Police and the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and all members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska.
Since its inception, three decades ago, the Police and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska have been a strong guarantee to our citizens that they will live safely and that the Republic of Srpska will enjoy peace and stability.
This year we are proud to celebrate a significant jubilee, very important for all our citizens. Firmly and inextricably linked to their people, in the decisive and difficult years of the defense of the Republic of Srpska, members of the police made an immeasurable contribution.
On this occasion, I express my gratitude and deep respect to all members of the Ministry of the Interior, participants in the Defense and Patriotic War, and especially to those who gave their lives or body parts.
We also owe gratitude and deep respect to the police officers who suffered while performing their jobs and tasks professionally, bravely and honorably.
It is our duty and obligation to nurture the memories of their selfless sacrifice, to preserve and strengthen the Republic of Srpska, for the sake of future generations.
Republic of Srpska is proud to have a strong, stable, modern police structure today, which is a pillar of security and a guardian of order.
