President of the Republic of Srpska sends a telegram of condolences on the occasion of the death of the Bishop of Šabac Lavrentije

On the occasion of the death of Bishop Lavrentije of Šabac, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović sent a telegram of condolences to the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, clergy and monks, believers of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Diocese of Šabac.

“With sorrow and regret, I have received the sad news of the death of His Eminence Bishop Lavrentije of Šabac.

By sincerely and devotedly serving the Lord, the Church and the believing people, Bishop Lavrentije made a great contribution to the preservation of true Christian values, faith and tradition.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you”, reads the telegram by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
