President of the Republic of Srpska sends a telegram of condolences on the death of the actor Vlastimir Vlasta Velisavljević

On the occasion of the death of the actor Vlastimir Vlasta Velisavljević, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović sent a telegram of condolences to his family and the Yugoslav Drama Theatre.

“I have received the news with sadness since the famous Vlastimir Vlasta Velisavljević, a legend of the Serbian and Yugoslav acting scene, passed away as a result of the Coronavirus infection.

Numerous generations have grown up with his impressive acting achievements in theatre, film and television. Although he was the oldest active actor in Serbia, his enthusiasm, optimism and dedication to work were admirable.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I express my deepest condolences to the Velisavljević family, the Yugoslav Drama Theatre and all those who loved and respected him”, reads the telegram of the President of the Republic of Srpska.
