On the occasion of the death of Milorad Telebak, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović sent a telegram of condolences to his family and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska.

“I have been sincerely saddened by the news on the death of Professor Milorad Telebak, one of the most famous contemporary Serbian linguists, who dedicated his entire life to the education and language culture of the Serbs.

Determined for Vuk’s language, Professor Telebak defended the Serbian language and script with his knowledge.

The Serbian language was left without an excellent language expert who, in an original and unique way, worked persistently on preserving the correctness and purity of the Serbian language and affirming the language culture of expression.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you”, reads the telegram of the President of the Republic of Srpska.
