President of the Republic of Srpska receives the young tennis player Marko Maksimović
Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received the young tennis player Marko Maksimović in the Palace of the Republic.
The President of the Republic said that the republican institutions will always support young athletes who have talent and show great results, such as the fifteen-year-old tennis player from Doboj, Marko Maksimović, the winner of the final master’s tournament in Monte Carlo.
The President of Srpska emphasized the importance of this support, so that these young athletes would feel that the society supports them, and that their work and potential of being the best was recognised.
“I had the opportunity to welcome many of our young athletes, who have achieved remarkable results, and to show them that we are proud to have such talents and successful young athletes”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that she was impressed by the fact of what Marko Maksimović’s day looks like, who puts a lot of effort into harmonising sports and school obligations, and how much perseverance, love for sports is needed, but also numerous sacrifices.
“There will always be support for him, and I am satisfied because the city of Doboj, as a local community, has shown interest in supporting him in the future”, it was noted by the President of Srpska.
The President of the Republic expressed satisfaction that she had the opportunity to meet Maksimović, but also his team, which with its work and commitment partly contributed to his success, but also to the success of the Republic of Srpska.
“I am glad since the people from the club are dedicated, and they have ambitious plans for the next period, as well as that a large number of children from the surrounding municipalities gather there. They have a great perspective ahead of them, and we will certainly support them”, it was pointed out by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
