President of the Republic of Srpska receives the Head of Mission of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe in an inaugural visit

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received today in the inaugural visit the Head of Mission of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in BiH Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec.

The economic opportunities in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, as well as improving cooperation with the OSCE Mission in various fields, such as education, ecology and the rule of law were discussed at the meeting.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović stressed that the institutions of the Republic of Srpska are fully committed to cooperation, to carrying out demanding reform processes aimed at improving the economic environment and living standards of all citizens.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President Cvijanović welcomed the Ambassador Kavalec and expressed hope that the good cooperation between OSCE Mission and the Republic of Srpska institutions would be continued in the forthcoming period.
