The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received today in her office the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH Margret Uebber in an inaugural visit.
The President Cvijanović and Ambassador Uebber exchanged views on the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, the process of government formation in BiH and the European integration.
The President Cvijanović emphasized that Srpska has shown stability and full capacity since it is the first in BiH to have constituted authorities, and said it was unacceptable that the election results and the will of the citizens had not been implemented for more than a year.
In conversation with the Ambassador Uebber, the President Cvijanović stressed the need to form the Council of Ministers and the Government of the FBiH as soon as possible, with the aim of implementing reforms, further political and economic progress and speeding up the European path of BiH.
The interlocutors expressed mutual satisfaction with the cooperation between Srpska and Germany so far and expressed their readiness to continue good relations on a partnership basis in the future.
The President of the Republic of Srpska welcomed the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Srpska and wished her a successful mandate.
