The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received in her office today a delegation of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship from Szczecin, led by the Voivodeship General Secretary Prszemyslaw Wlosek.
At the meeting, it was assessed that the relations between Srpska and Poland so far were very good and intensified in the previous period, and that there were numerous examples of concrete cooperation in various fields with several Polish Voivodeships.
The President Cvijanović highlighted that the European integrations are a strategic commitment of the Republic of Srpska institutions, and that the experience and support of Poland and its regions on the European path are valuable and useful for Srpska.
The President Cvijanović thanked the members of the orchestra of the Szczecin Music School for accepting the invitation to participate in the tenth humanitarian action “To Brave Hearts with Love”, which, she emphasized, gives a special dimension in the development of cooperation between Srpska and Poland.
The interlocutors expressed their conviction that the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the West Pomeranian Voivodeship would be intensified in various fields in the coming period, especially in the fields of culture and tourism.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Department of Culture of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Prszemyslaw Wraga, Honorary Consul of BiH in Poland Julija Sienkiewicz and Ambassador of BiH to Poland Koviljka Špirić.
