President of the Republic of Srpska receives a delegation of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province / AP / of Vojvodina

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović received in her office today a delegation of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province / AP / Vojvodina, headed by the President Ištvan Pastor.

The President Cvijanović and President Pastor discussed strengthening and developing institutional relations between the Republic of Srpska and AP Vojvodina, as well as further enhancing of economic, educational and cultural cooperation.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović stressed that good relations and cooperation with Vojvodina were very important for the Republic of Srpska and added that there was a high degree of mutual trust, unity, joint initiatives and concrete results.

Cooperation between Srpska and Vojvodina was estimated to be increasingly dynamic, as confirmed by numerous signed protocols on cooperation and infrastructure projects, and it was pointed out that numerous residents of Vojvodina, originally from Srpska and BiH, are a strong link and the basis for extremely good and successful cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by Secretary General of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina Nikola Banjac, President of the Parliamentary Group “Aleksandar Vučić – Serbia wins” Milenko Jovanov, President of the Parliamentary Group “Socialist Party of Serbia – United Serbia” Pavle Budakov and Chairman of the Committee on European Integration and Parliamentary Friendship Group of the AP Assembly Vojvodina with the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dmitar Stanišić.
