President of the Republic of Srpska participates in the online International Conference “Solidarity and Cooperation – Women Leaders and the World after the Pandemic”

Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović participated in the online International Conference “Solidarity and Cooperation – Women Leaders and the World after the Pandemic”, organised by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.      On this occasion, the President Cvijanović thanked the organiser for the invitation to participate in the Conference, and particularly Minister Zoran Đorđević, who recognised the topic around which everyone must gather, emphasizing the need to strengthen unity and solidarity.

The President of the Republic assessed that this Conference was a good opportunity to exchange information, experiences and examples of good practice in resolving the crisis caused by the pandemic.

In her address, the President of the Republic pointed out that this year was rightly declared the year of solidarity, because the time of the pandemic made the society vulnerable and showed that solidarity must exist in every respect and at every level.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović extended words of gratitude to all women, especially in the health sector, who have made a great contribution in overcoming this great and challenging problem through their selfless and dedicated work and commitment.
