President of the Republic of Srpska opens kindergarten “Naša radost”

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović and Mayor of Zvornik Zoran Stevanović opened today the kindergarten “Naša radost” in which the local government invested 700,000 BAM, while the Republic of Srpska Government provided 200,000 BAM for equipping this preschool institution.

The President Cvijanović said that completing the construction of this kindergarten is definitely a good indicator of the relationship of local authorities, but also of the leadership of this preschool institution, showing how we should treat children.

“Representatives of the city government are investing on a local level, but also seeking support from the republic level, they have collected and pooled funds, providing space for the youngest population that meets all the necessary standards”, said the President of Srpska.

According to the President of the Republic, what is particularly important is that in this way the waiting list has been resolved and there are no children in Zvornik who are waiting to attend the kindergarten.

The President Cvijanović pointed out that with the construction of a kindergarten one unit was completed in which huge resources were invested.

“Since there is investing in the youngest population, there is also support for every family. Parents will be able to leave their children in this institution in the future, and carelessly go to work since they know that their children are staying in good conditions with high standards”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic emphasized that this is support, not only to the families, but also to the environment in which people live and develop, taking care that the kindergarten is a starting point.

“In the kindergarten, children learn a lot, create certain habits, so that they could later go on through primary and secondary education, and in some cases high education, since they become formed persons in society”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Republic emphasized that she was particularly pleased that Zvornik has raised a high standard when it comes to the coverage of children involved in the preschool programmes, that is, the preparatory programme before going to school.

The President Cvijanović said that the intention is to continue increasing the coverage of children in the Republic of Srpska every year, who will go through the preparatory programme, in order to be ready for the teaching process.
