President of the Republic of Srpska officially opens reconstructed road from Crnaja to Šeškovci

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović, the Serb Member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and Mayor of Srbac Mlađan Dragosavljević today solemnly put into operation a reconstructed road from Crnaja to Šeškovci in this municipality.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the newly reconstructed road from Crnaja to Šeškovci would be of great importance for the municipalities of Srbac and Laktaši and the whole region, especially due to the fact that it has a connection with the highway “January 9”.

The President of the Republic said that the role of the republican authorities, in cooperation with the local authorities, is to first identify what are the important projects that need to be done, and then to go into their implementation.

“We want to keep the population in the countryside and also keep the population in the Republic of Srpska. With measures to improve economic opportunities and employment, I think that what is being done in the field of infrastructure will gain good results”, it was added by the President of Srpska.

The President Cvijanović praised the local government in Srbac for having close cooperation with the republican institutions since it delegates certain projects and topics relevant to this local community.

The President of the Republic stated that she was pleased because important projects were being implemented throughout the Republic of Srpska and that this was not only the case now.

“At any time of the crisis, we have never given up. We have much more in mind to do. Each of these projects has already started”, it was added by the President Cvijanović.

The Republic of Srpska President said it was strategically important to have a highway built and take it across Doboj to Serbia, and to have another highway that should lead to Prijedor”.

“It is important that everything that is foreseen by our transport strategy is being realised in the eastern part of the Republic of Srpska and that the projects of highways and modernisation of roads are being implemented”, said the President Cvijanović.
