The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Resident Representative of the UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina Steliana Nedera and discussed the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and the UNDP, as well as potential projects aimed at improving the development of local communities.
On this occasion, the President Cvijanović pointed out that all previous projects implemented by the institutions of Srpska in cooperation with UNDP have been successfully implemented and expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided by UNDP to the institutions and citizens of the Republic of Srpska through various programmes of the United Nations Development Programme.
During the meeting, mutual willingness to continue cooperation on future projects in areas of importance for the citizens of the Republic of Srpska such as energy efficiency, environmental protection, women’s empowerment and sustainable development was expressed.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP, Stephen Kinloch Pichat and the Head of the UNDP office in Banja Luka Goran Vukmir.
