President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the representatives of the newly formed Association of Teachers of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the representatives of the newly formed Association of Teachers of the Republic of Srpska.

The goals and activities of the Association, current issues in the field of education, as well as education reforms in the Republic of Srpska were discussed at the meeting.

The President of the Republic emphasized that the teaching profession is one of the most noble, but also the most responsible, and stated that she supports every activity and organisation that aims to improve educational work, as well as the overall position of teachers.

Representatives of the newly formed Association of Teachers of the Republic of Srpska thanked the President of the Republic for understanding and support, and expressed confidence that the Association will achieve its goals, affirmations and improve cooperation between teachers from all over the Republic of Srpska.
