President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the President of the Provincial Government

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Novi Sad with the President of the Provincial Government Igor Mirović.

During the meeting, they discussed the current cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, infrastructure projects that connect the Republic of Srpska and Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, i.e. the Republic of Serbia, as well as the possibilities for further improvement of economic cooperation.

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the overall relations between the Republic of Srpska and Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and pointed out that in the coming period, they will actively work on further strengthening, both institutional and economic, educational and cultural ties.

As a positive example of improving overall relations, the President Cvijanović pointed out the implementation of the project of building free zones in Podrinje, which will have a positive and stimulating effect on economic development on both sides of the Drina River.

It was assessed that the manifestation “Days of Srpska in Serbia” is of great importance and another confirmation of strong and friendly ties, as well as an opportunity for promotion and presentation of the potentials of the Republic of Srpska.
