President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the President of the Association of Pensioners of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the President of the Association of Pensioners of the Republic of Srpska Ratko Trifunović.

The activities of the Republic Association, plans for the next period related to the improvement of the position of pensioners as well as the overall position of this population were discussed at the meeting.

The President Cvijanović pointed out the excellent cooperation between the institutions and the Association of Pensioners, the commitment to further improve the position of the pensioner population and expressed full support for the work of the Republic Association, as the largest organisation of public interest.

It was jointly assessed that the payment of pensions is regular and stable, that their increase is in line with current possibilities, and that in the coming period, on a partnership basis, joint work will continue to improve the overall position of pensioners.

On this occasion, the President of the Association expressed his gratitude to the President Cvijanović for the understanding and great support she provides to this organisation and reminded that the transition to the treasury system ensured stability and regularity of pension payments.
