President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the Mayor of Zvornik

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today with the Mayor of Zvornik Zoran Stevanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the republican government in that city have implemented a number of important projects worth nearly 120 million BAM during the past few years and that the investments will be continued.

“The republican government has implemented many local projects here, reconstructed schools, built roads, solved various public and infrastructure problems, and the attitude of the institutions of the Republic of Srpska is to continue investing in improving the living conditions of our citizens”, said the President Cvijanović after the meeting with the Mayor of Zvornik Zoran Stevanović.

The President of the Republic stated that today they defined what will be done in Zvornik in the upcoming period, with the support of the republican authorities.

“We have previously intervened when it comes to hospital and we shall again complete this project and with the reconstruction we are planning to upgrade a certain part, as well as the procurement of equipment that is needed for the hospital to function according to the modern standards in healthcare”, said the President Cvijanović.

According to the President of Srpska, several other schools will be renovated in Zvornik, and today the completion of the extension of the kindergarten capacities will be marked in which the Government of the Republic of Srpska invested 200,000 BAM.

“Everything that the local community requested for better living conditions for the citizens we are gradually resolving, and among these large projects there is the building of alternative accommodation and the solution of a rural water supply that is significant for returnee settlements”, it was announced by the President Cvijanović.
