President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the leadership of the Republic Organisation of families of captured and killed soldiers and missing civilians

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the leadership of the Republic Organisation of families of captured and killed soldiers and missing civilians about the activities that the organisation is carrying out, as well as the challenges it is facing.

During the meeting, they discussed the process of searching for missing persons, and expressed dissatisfaction with the work and attitude of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH towards victims of Serb nationality and their families.

On this occasion, it was pointed out that the cooperation of the Republic Organisation of families of captured and killed soldiers and missing civilians with the institutions of Srpska is good, and that a lot has been done in the past period to improve the status of families belonging to this category.

The need to further improve the position of the children of killed fighters was discussed at the meeting, in a way which would imply the involvement of all relevant social actors, from institutions to the business community.
