The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today with the leadership of the municipality of Srbac.
The President of the Republic stated today that the municipality of Srbac is on the path of development, and that this was achieved through the joint engagement of both local and republic authorities.
“There are many implemented projects, but also there are many that are in progress. There are ambitious plans of this local community and refer to the creation of better living conditions for our citizens”, said the President Cvijanović.
After the meeting with the leadership of the municipality of Srbac, the President of the Republic emphasized that the most important projects are the construction of better traffic infrastructure, as well as projects related to the determination of the river banks, i.e. the flood protection.
“Through its programs, the Government of Srpska participates in all these capital projects. In addition, we are interested in everything related to the arrangement of schools and kindergartens. I am happy to see that there are projects here, that the construction of a new kindergarten will begin, that the school facilities will be repaired”, said the President Cvijanović.
According to the President of the Republic, it is obvious that Srbac will achieve success.
“Of course, there is still a need to reach new investors, but what is encouraging when it comes to Srbac is that the existing investors have expanded their capacities, which automatically implies new jobs”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic welcomed the announced municipality programme which refers to the provision of apartments for young married couples, stressing out that it is a good way for young people to stay in Srbac and build the future there.
Before the meeting with the leadership of the municipality, the President of the Republic of Srpska visited the exhibition stands at the fair of domestic products, which was organised on the central square on the occasion of the Day of the Municipality.
